NY Admission - Electronic signature on law school certification?

Hello,
Does anyone know if it's okay to have an electronic signature on the law school certification form for the NY Admission process?
I sent my certification form to a law school in China with an electronic signature, and when I tried to send them another copy with the original signature, the school told me they (hand-signed their part and) mailed it to the 1st Department already.
Has anyone been told to re-submit a doc because of an electronic signature?
