I have no grand secret. I think when I took the midterm, I was behind and had not done enough MBE questions yet for it to be an accurate representation of how I would do. But I was very worried when I left the exam and I was very surprised my score was as high as it was.

Barbri Mid-term: 145/200
Last set of NCBE exams: 88%; OPE 3 and 4: 80%
Barmax 1600+ questions 72%. NB: I started at 60% percent and by the end I was at 77-81%

Actual MBE: waiting anxiously in NY (I felt I dropped the ball on the MEE/MPT)

According to JoeSeperac's analysis of past Barbri scores I should easily pass, but I don't feel too confident about that

I got a PM, but I am too new here to respond privately so I wanted to post a response back on this thread:

Question was from someone who hasn't gotten their scores back about how I felt after the MBE.

In short, I felt terrible. Absolutely crushed. I did feel like the BarBri MBE question format was distinct from the actual MBE questions, so I was panicking during the exam and up until I found out that I passed. To see the 151 reinforced what I heard from every licensed attorney, which was that there is a pretty high correlation between doing well on the exam and feeling like you bombed it. The folks I have talked to who felt the worst often passed with 10+ points to spare.

I hope this gives some comfort to the person who PM'd me, and anyone else, although I know that you won't feel better until you have answers

80%+ in every subject for Kaplan QBank, all 2000+ questions answered.
100% Kaplan program completion (but to be fair I didn't take some of their assignments seriously)

Actual mbe- TBD

Kaplan told us to expect to add 10-20 points to our final score in order to account for NCBE MBE scaling but after how I felt with the actual MBE, I think I'll be beyond lucky to score what I did in practice even with the scaling already added. This isn't the bs your classmate spewed every time you finished a test and he claimed he "failed." I had extra time from my AM session and counted 58 questions out of 100 that I "knew for sure" that I had gotten correct. Obviously I could still be wrong, but the figure is around 50. For the PM session I didn't even bother counting because I was 50/50 on half and lost of the other half.

Will repost this with actual MBE score come November.

Actual MBE: TBD waiting for Georgia results.

I know I should feel great given my Kaplan scores, but I'm still super nervous. I realllllly do not want to have to study all over again.
