Foreign trained lawyer taking the NY bar exam.
Are those MEE and MPT questions administered in NY state different from the ones administered in for example the state of California? I.e Are the MPT and MEE questions uniform across the country or state specific?

Both the essays on the MEE and the MPT are created by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE), and so neither is state-specific. Each state can set different standards for a passing score, but the questions on both the essays and on the MPT will be the same regardless of where you take the exam, and there will be no New York specific law to learn.

NY MEE are not state specific but other jurisdictions, such as Texas are. California has different essay questions too.

He's asking about MPT/MEE. CA and TX don't have MPT/MEE
