Ugh same. Really hoping I get one next week.
I was told mid-June that my app was complete and I may be invited to the Aug 21 ceremony. Haven’t heard anything about it since. How about you?

I was told around mid-july that my application went complete and that I could be invited for the Aug 21 ceremony but heard nothing on Friday. Fingers crossed that they send out emails on Monday or Tuesday for Aug 21.

Re: NY Third Department Admissions
I received mid June an email saying that my application was complete. Is it still possible that they will send email us invitations on Monday or Tuesday for the August 21st ceremony?

Re: NY Third Department Admissions
Not sure but I think it may be possible. When I got the email saying my papers were complete, it mentioned that my invitation for the ceremony would reach me one week before the scheduled date and one exact week was last Friday. But when I got confirmation for the ceremony on Friday, the email said that I could email them back saying I couldn’t attend up until the 19th of August which makes me think that If spaces for the ceremony are filled up and someone withdraws from this ceremony by the 19th of August, maybe if there is a “waiting list” they’ll probably start emailing people with more invitations.

- Applied mid-April
- Received confirmation of complete app in mid-June advising interview for C&F is TBD and earliest ceremony I could be invited to is Aug 21
- I provided an update to my app in early July (AD3 didn’t request this, just a change in my personal info). AD3 confirmed receipt and did not request any further info.
- Received invite to Aug 21 ceremony today. Email also advises a committee has determined C&F interview is not necessary.
Hope this helps!

Re: NY Third Department Admissions
Does anybody know if the Third Department will continue to hold virtual ceremonies through the fall? According to their previous statement, the September 17th in-person ceremony had not yet been cancelled. Does anyone have an update? Thank you!

Re: NY Third Department Admissions
Different person from the one mentioned above who also received preliminary invite for September 17 online ceremony. Based on this thread I'm not expecting any new news until September 10 or 11.
Application Timeline:
- Applied in late June.
- AD3 asked for minor update to my app in mid-August. AD3 confirmed receipt and did not request any further info.
- Received confirmation of complete app on August 21 advising interview for C&F is TBD and earliest ceremony I could be invited to is September 17.
- Currently waiting to receive invite to September 17 ceremony.

Re: NY Third Department Admissions
I submitted my application 4 months ago, but has since had to email the admissions office to make updates to my application (address). Does anybody know if that means my application is sent to the bottom of the pile again? From some of the posts in this thread it seems like the 3rd Department is processing applications submitted much later. Many thanks!

Re: NY Third Department Admissions
I just received the September 17 remote ceremony invitation this morning.
It will be a live ceremony on YouTube, and afterwards you have to mail them a signed statement saying you attended the ceremony and took the oath, only then are you officially admitted.
