What happens if I no longer have the laptop that I used for the bar exam?

I took the CA bar exam. The laptop instructions say that we need to keep our laptops and examsoft until the results comes out.
Well I dropped my laptop today and it's completely destroyed.
Do I need to call them and explain my situation?
Thank you!

The reason they tell you to keep the computer + software is in case of an emergency and to retrive your answers in case of an issue. I have yet to hear about an occassion that it was necessary it is more of a "fail safe" in case of a worst case scenario. You could certainly reach out the the bar/examsoft to explain what happened, but it really should not be an issue.

Nothing will happen, as long as your answer was already successfully uploaded. Take it easy and enjoy the break.

Dropped? Or threw the damn thing out the window, barely missing an old lady walking her poodle? Hmmmm. Relax. You're fine. Sweep up the pile of junk and go buy a new one?
