I'm guessing secured transactions, evidence with criminal law, contracts with damages, civil pro along with choice of law, and trust or professionalism.
I have no idea where i'm getting these from.

Fuck I hope commercial paper and secured transactions aren't on there. Barbri's lecture outline sucks too and isn't very helpful. Does anyone have an easier to read version of this? I'm cool with just about every other subject but I still suck at these two.

I found the Tanicius' Guide to Bullshitting Essays sticky helpful for both Secured and Comm Paper. Also bumping this thread for thoughts on the essay topics and any general advice for studying these last few weeks. I am taking the one day Attorney's Exam which will definitely help, but I am not using a prep company this time. So far I've reviewed all the subjects from secondhand Kaplan books and my Themis books from last year and made some of my own outlines and flashcards. The last couple weeks have been focused on essay practice, which is probably what I"ll keep doing going forward. What is everyone doing to get ready from here on out?

I'm guessing Torts, Family Law, Georgia Civ Pro at least. Those seem to be the favorites. Someone else doublecheck me on this, but CP and ST haven't been tested in forever.

CP was last tested in Feb. 2015... That being said though, I have been told most states are phasing it out. So I'm not expecting to see it this year. But I highly recommend Tanicius' guides for CP and ST, as the poster above mentioned. They are really great!

Does anyone know how GA grades the essays? Based on the lack of answers I'm getting from Google I'm beginning to think it's a mystery.

All I know is that they scale it to the MBE. So I am guessing that average is like a 135 to 140? Just a guess.

Lulz who even knows. I took the 1-day attorney's exam and literally everyone on my row was like "yeah I just made up my answer" as we were leaving. So I don't feel too bad about it. I just made up some rules and applied the facts to my made up rules. Apparently there was a big case about ante litem notice recently in the court of appeals that got dismissed, so I guess they want us to be prepared? I dunno. Who the hell would have ever known to study that?

Idkk what an ad litem notice is, but I'm damn sure I can make up more stuff about it than anything related to secured transactions. Feeling Cautiously optimistic.

Made up something about ante litem....I have never heard of that and kept thinking guardian ad litem lol. Helen needs to get it together, Frank sucks too. Glad to see an adverse possession issue. But most all glad it's over! Hurray for one day attorney's exam (especially when you're bad at multistate like me).

Hello, I'm taking the GA attorneys exam IN FEBRUARY 2018 as I am currently licensed in South Carolina. Do any of you recent Georgia bar takers have any Georgia essay outlines or books for sale?

I see the essay portion of your exam was super fun :p

So, it was Adverse Possession ? I feel like my Property essay was super short. Really freaking out about impending results. MBE was total blur for me. Guess there is a possibility that I knocked it out of the park.

How's everyone else feeling ?
