Hello All,

I am graduating in May and taking the bar exam late July after the Barbri Course. I am supposed to go on a bachelor party June 22-24 (arriving late that Friday, leaving early Sunday). This is my only planned trip for the entire summer, I plan on working 7 days a week on this otherwise. Is this feasible? I obviously wouldn't go as hard on this trip as previous ones.

Sure. I took off a full weekend for a wedding and know plenty of others who did the same. If you're otherwise diligent with your bar prep, it shouldn't be a problem.

i'm also taking the bar this july. pretty confident you'll have no issue with this. some people work full time and still pass. if you're worried study some more the week before

I went on a 4 day weekend bachelor party and a couple other weekend trips and rarely did weekend work until the two weeks before the exam. If you are putting in 4-5 solid hours of work 5 days a week you will be fine.

If you're already going to go on the trip you should go as hard as usual, it's not like you will be trying to get work done anyhow. Just don't do anything that could mess up C&F.

Go to the party and party as hard as you can.

Really though, not sure anyone here can advise you on whether you're capable of handling a single weekend off from 2.5+months of studying....Make an adult decision, haha.

If it was the literal weekend before it may not be wise even if you studied your ass off in case you got sick/seriously dehydrated but as others say, just be logical. The bar exam doesn't require devotion of your life to the exam, just diligent studying.

Studying seven days a week for the bar is neither necessary nor advisable.

most of the people i know didnt even start studying until after july 4 and almost all passed. youll be fine taking a weekend off.
