Right, I heard it they waived the late fee throughout years, but I just wanted to make sure this will happen this time. Maybe I'm freaking out for no reason lol. Thanks for the link!No_name wrote: I would find it unlikely that the fee would not be waived. In the past, the Court of Appeals issued Administrative Orders waiving the additional fee for re-takers (see link below which contains a number of these orders).

We all are freaking out for good reason - we don't have our bar results yet. But I just got the email saying they will waive the late fee for re-takers. The email had the Administrative Order attached.cho8583 wrote:Right, I heard it they waived the late fee throughout years, but I just wanted to make sure this will happen this time. Wild. My heart dropped from that email. Did everyone who tested get it? I am now guess something occurred grading error wise. This is taking entirely too long for the amount of test takers that sat for this administration

I got the same email -- and my heart skipped a beat as well. Also, I emailed them asking to clarify about whether or not the essay takers would instead receive results via mail, but they said all successful applicants will be posted online. I think I've refreshed that page about 100 times today!

My heart stopped too when I received the email. Not that I really care, but the instructions for the July exam list the late fee at $210, while the Administrative Order puts it as $200. If I have to retake the exam, the $10 will be the least of my concerns.

For everyone worrying about results, write your worries down on paper before you go to bed. Then tell yourself, I've dealt with it. You'll sleep.

Ugh. Yup, got the email. It looks like they will release after the deadline. I'm afraid the hearsay I repeated may have been correct.

Has anyone heard anything regarding when they will post the results now that we are at the May 3rd deadline -- which was the original goal?

The Web site just added the Link to the Decision where we don't have to pay for the late fee. After refreshing so many times, it looked odd to see something new on the site. But it was not the results.

Re: DC Bar - Feb 2017 (UBE)
The admissions office just told me over the phone that the results will be posted by the end of the month. The office indicated that they might have a better projected timeframe by the middle of next week, and recommended calling back next week for a better update. They also recommended that we apply for the July exam even if we haven't received results yet.
