Does Adaptibar and Emanuels S&T use the same questions?

For anyone who has used both Adaptibar and the latest Emmanuel S&T book for MBE practice, did you find that any of the questions overlapped or repeated between the two? I know that Adaptibar uses questions from the OPEs, and I thought that Emmanuel uses author written MBE questions, but just wanted to be sure before I purchased the S&T (I already have Adaptibar). Thanks!

Yes, they do use the same questions.

Honestly, i'd use the Kaplan Q bank combined with Adaptibar or The emanuels book.

From what i've experienced, the questions from adaptibar were easier than the real bar. I think adaptibar was pretty good until 2012 or so but the questions seems to be a bit different and harder than before. However, adaptibar is still a must have if you have the money for it because i recognized some questions on the real bar.

On the other hand, while the kaplan Q bank questions were less realistics than the ones on the bar but were harder. And IMO it's always good to train for sth harder than what you'll get.

To conclude, i'd recommend adaptibar for the similar questions (and sometimes the sames questions ) than the bar but you should also use the kaplan q bank to get something harder.

Also, regarding civ pro, i have absolutely no idea how to train for it.

best of luck

They do use the same questions because the NCBE has licensed only a certain number of questions and anyone who purchases the right to use those questions will be using the same ones. One book I use with my students who have already been through those questions is Strategies and Tactics for the Finz Multistate Method. Nothing beats the released questions but this is an excellent source once you've been through those.
