UBE: What is the MBE Scaled Score?

Anyone know how the scaled score for the MBE is produced?

Does each jurisdiction set the scaled score curve based on the MBE results of those who took it only in that jurisdiction?

In other words, if someone scores 130/190 raw in Washington, and someone else scores 130/190 raw in NY, will their scaled score be the same or different?

Yes, two people who have the same raw score in different jurisdictions will have the same scaled score.

These two articles may explain how scores can be different in different jurisdictions.
