Anyone have any thoughts on when we should anticipate results? They say mid-October, but each year it comes earlier and earlier it seems.....

Well, I took PA last year and did not pass, I didn't do it again in Feb b/c I got a job promotion and wanted to focus on that instead... BUT, last year we got the "confirm address" email exactly 3 weeks prior to results being released...

Just don't hthink about it. Statistically you probably passed. Live your life.

Yeah disregard my earlier speculation. I Just learned that 2014 scores came out October 17 solely because they had issues with the laptop software that year. So, Oct 7th it will be. I'll be unable to function that day.

Does PA tell you whether you have cleared c+f independently of the exam results?

You'll receive your initial P/F Bar results online. A few days later, you'll receive a packet with your score. That packet also indicates whether you've passed C&F or if additional information is needed. If you've passed C&F, the packet will contain the paperwork necessary to obtain your license.

I have received request from PA Bar Examiners asking me to provide documents for Character and Fitness clearence. Is this a hint of passing or they are seperate from actual bar result?

Who knows, but per the PABE website: "For bar exam applications, the board staff begins a preliminary investigation of the application before the bar examination. However, the full investigation and determination of character and fitness is made only after the successful completion of the bar examination. "

Does anyone know what the actual form of the notification looks like? I get that we'll get an email notification that says we have a message on the PA Bar website, but will that email say pass/fail? What does the actual notice say?

I know this is meaningless but we have like three more weeks of waiting, so I'm curious.

You'll get an e-mail saying results are going to be released on Oct __, at 3:00. Then they'll post all passing names on the website for everyone to see. You don't receive a separate e-mail saying you passed/failed. You'll receve a letter a few days later with your official results.

I don't want to wait any longer!

Would be nice if they would at least release the examiner's analysis to the essay questions

I know I'm being annoying at this point, but do you think there's any chance we'd get the email tomorrow for this Friday? Probably reaching, but I know less people took the bar this year vs. last year. I'm getting impatient, just wanna know, sort of don't wanna know, ready for next step in the career (that comes with the license), etc......

Probably just need xanax or wine or both.

trying not to think about it too much. The more I think about it the more nervous I get. I'll be absolutely worthless at work the days results are supposed to drop.

Do we have any way of knowing how many people took it this year or do they only release those stats after the fact?

For some reason I feel like I remember them saying there was like 350 in Pittsburgh. No idea about the other location

I'm curious if it will keep declining as enrollment in law school declines, given the market. I know Pittsburgh's is tough, I have several Duquesne friends who still don't have "lawyer" jobs.

I think I remember the examiner in York saying there were approximately 1600 taking the exam this year, with 400+ in Pitt and 1100+ in York.
