I read that New Mexico is pretty favorable for people with debt issues and is willing to offer conditional admission for people with more egregious debt issues (you are sworn in and allowed to practice, no one but the bar knows it's conditional, and you are on probation with them for a specified amount of time while you get your shit together and prove you can get your finances on track).

Really...I didn't know that. I am just assuming I will get called in for the C&F interview because my finances are not squeaky clean. I hope you are right and I don't have to go at all. If I do, and you are correct maybe I can still be admitted. Assuming I pass the STUPID bar.

Actually, after reading the last two emails I got from the bar, it's my understanding that if you were going to be invited for an interview, you would've heard from them two weeks ago. The first c&f email sent to everyone in the beginning of August said that examinees would be contacted within a week with updates, requests for more info, and requests for interviews. Then the second email was individualized, and mine just said that my file is complete. I feel like people who are going to need to appear for an interview in a week have already been contacted, but I can't confirm this because I dont know any of those people.
