I figured that misery loves its company, and that we'll all feel more prepared if we realize that we're all in pretty similar boats.

Ready to be done, but also dreading the two test days. On the one hand, I feel like they'll fly by, but on the other they could be torturously long.

I'm even having trouble deciding which watch to use during the MBE. I have a smaller one and a bigger one. Both are practically silent (i.e., no audible ticking). The big one is easier to read, but the small one stands on the table better.

MBE: feeling good about hitting >70%

Essays: unprepared. too much to remember. gonna have to just BS with major rules & big picture overviews

short answers (10% in tx): unprepared. havnt even learned the material yet, much less comitted it to memory.

MPT: unprepared but not that worried. Like, i didnt even outline one. Just read a couple short guides.

im disappointed in myself for not putting in more time and effort in june

i feel like another week of studying would boost my chances of passing from like 75% to 95% (pass rate in my state is like 2/3)

The no water thing is ridiculous. Some people need water (most people) to function and answer questions properly. Are they preparing you for practicing law while on a deserted island? Smh. That rule is awful.

I'm with you here in Florida. We can even bring our own pencil or wear a sweatshirt with a hood, much less bring a clock or watch. We are lucky they allow us to bring earplugs since they aren't on the "aporoved" list.

Same. Our own pencils are banned too. Any outerwear cannot have pockets either.

Sweatshirts are allowed in NY, right?

I always feel like these prohibitions are enforced because someone did something shady and tried to cheat using the items.

But I have a hard time figuring out what someone did with a small analog clock, a pencil, or a bottle of water. And what did someone do with an eraser or a pencil sharpener?

In CA we weren't allowed to bring in water, but the convention center had water fountains that you could use. It just all seems so weird.

Especially the analog clock thing -- it is so helpful to have during the exam and I don't know how someone would use it to cheat.

They didn't mention pockets but I'll play it safe and make sure I don't have tose either lol. But they do stress on our sheet to bring an extension cord on top if your power cord in case you are far from an outlet. Not sure how big your convention center is, but here in Tampa it's huge. Last July there were just under 3000 people who took it.

Feeling Completely Unprepared. Still need to read the entire Convisor for Barbri and do all my critical pass flashcards. I've been through them earlier in the month but not too recently. Planning on pulling a couple all nighters this weekend. So I guess the answer=not prepared.

Honestly, I'm more surprised that there are 8 people who feel totally prepared. I think the majority of people walk into the exam scared. I can't tell you how many people I saw saying silent prayers as they handed out booklets (I was among them). At some point, the die is cast and there is no more you can do but walk in and do your best.

I won't give you any more cliches, but I have them ready at a moments notice.

Anyone else studying MEE subjects the day before the exam? Can't resist the temptation.

Had a medical issue knock out 2 weeks of studying in June, so definitely didn't do everything I could. Hitting 66-75% on my MBE though and my jurisdiction is one of the "easier" ones. Just have to pass, I'm fine passing with the minimum.

Here. It's how Iv'e always studied. Cram information the night before. I figure why try to change things up now.
