New York Law Exam (NYLE) Results?
Does anyone know how long it takes to get the NYLE results after you take it?
Any tips of advice for the 2 hour, 50 multiple choice test? I'm taking it in August.

2 Weeks.
When we took the exam in May, Examsoft was unsecured. This meant we could Ctrl-F the PDF Course Materials document. I looked up 90% of the answers and finished with 40 mins left to spare.
Even if the examiners change Examsoft to secured this time around, get to a second computer and Ctrl-F the answers.
It's a breeze. Don't waste time studying.

Do you have any tips for Cntrl + F'ing the whole exam? Because when I was taking the course and would cntrl + F to find the answers to the questions, there were about 3 that I got wrong a few times! And it would make me go back to that point in the lecture and watch the stupid thing again. Maybe I don't have the best Cntrl + F skillsLionelHutzJD wrote:2 Weeks.

Well you'll know what area of the law the question is testing so when you Ctrl+F make sure you're in the right section. Other than that, just practice I guess.ChocolateTruffle wrote:Do you have any tips for Cntrl + F'ing the whole exam? So I forgot to sign up yesterday. Anyone know the way to go about signing up a day late for the NYLE? Or am I screwed?

You can't sign up a day late. And MVP is right, you can't even register to take the exam until you watch all of the video lectures. You have to register for the NYLC (course) and watch the videos, and once you finish them, they send you an email with a link to register for the exam.mvp99 wrote:You can sign up but I think you had to watch the all the videos lectures before yesterday to sign up for Augustwhitecollar23 wrote:So I forgot to sign up yesterday. I'll have to take it in October as well. I'm concerned because I'll be working then. Does anyone know at what time the exam opens and closes?
