Memory Fog / CalBar/Barbri ... HELP

CA Bar, First-timer, top 1/4 at T-10.

I find that I understand the BLL well when I learn/review it. However, I have two problems:

1. Due to medication (which can't be reduced atm) I have short-term memory less
2. The law always makes complete sense to me when I watch Barbri lecture, but CMR and Long Outline just confuse me (I've always excelled at having a general understanding of law, but get confused in the weeds -- again this is a result of poor memory retention.)

Question: Is watching lectures and memorizing off of each subject's short 15 page outline sufficient (in addition to practice essays and practice MBE's)?

On the one hand, my MBE practice scores have put me in the 90th % vis à vis other Barbri users.

On the other hand, I always miss loss of cheap points on essays b/c I can't remember all the nitty gritty elements of the applicable rule (though I tend to score well on analysis).

I've been averaging around 73% on my MBE's and around 66 on essays.

I think your solution will be to just keep practicing. For what is worth, I began skipping the lectures with contracts and started making my own compressed attack outlines based on the CMR (Ks is only 24 pages!) and I feel like I'm doing much better now getting 85% correct so far.
