Barbri - 75% completion standard?

In one of the videos they mentioned something about completing 75% of the material is the goal of the program from what I remember? Does anyone else remember and can flesh that out a bit? If that is true, does that mean 75% of the assigned daily work, or 75% of everything available including all the extra problems in the StudySmart and books that may not be assigned?
While I want to strive to do all assignments, it just hit me there are no "days off" from assignments as I looked ahead but at the same time Mike Sims said to take a day off here and there (and I know I will want to eventually, but will be constantly paranoid about missing out on problem sets etc)...

I believe its 75% of the assigned daily work. And some people are successful doing much less.
Here is my personal...and likely worthless view on Barbri. As the biggest bar prep company, they need to develop a program that works for those that did well in law school and for those that did shitty in law school. Those that didn't do well need a ton of work, and those that did well probably don't need THAT much work, but they aren't going to be hurt by it and Barbri can't really design two separate programs. So, I think its important to remember that the amount of work Barbri is assigning to you is meant to help those that were in the bottom 10% of the class to pass. Those may be the people that really need to focus in and do as much of the work as humanly possible.
You don't sound like someone that was in the bottom 10% of the class if you're this concerned about completing all material....and sometimes if you're super tired and stressed I feel there are diminishing returns. You shouldn't be doing the work just to get through it, it should be doing something for you.

75% of assigned work.
Note however that that's just a ballpark number. Most people who do 75% of assigned work pass. But not all. And some people are just checking off assignments... but at least they're logged in and can see what they're supposed to be doing.

I agree with rcharter. BarBri is a course that's designed to be of mass applicability, and theoretically work for the lowest common denominator. When I took BarBri, I ended up with ~60% assignments completed, because I knew what i needed to work on and what type of learning worked best for me (practice MBE questions, as opposed to merely reading and trying to memorize information in the abstract). Outside of lectures, I stopped following the BarBri schedule and just used their materials.

I never tried to quantify my completion %. I tried to fight each day to complete everything. However, I skipped the "prepare for class" part just because it was too time consuming. The exercises are money though.

i was wondering this. do people actually do the 'prepare for X' and 'review lecture notes' assignments or are those usually just checked off and bypassed? I have been doing the latter..
Also, if you're taking AZ bar (based on your avatar), see ya there!

I didn't find the "prepping for class" particularly helpful, because I know what classes I did well in/remember things from, so I only look through the outline skimming it roughly and reading the test tips. I wasn't getting any use out of staring at my filled-in outline after class, so I started using the Critical Pass cards to review after the lectures. I just mark them up and read those (comparing roughly with outline) instead of rereading the filled-in outline. Much better use of my time for how I retain info.
ETA: I don't find the outline reading helpful, but I do pay very close attention to lectures because that's how I did well in LS (I remember things profs said way better than from a piece of paper). I was that kid that couldn't miss a class.

I took it in February. Good luck!
