Looking for a good CA Essay Bar tutor - Preferably one that was a former bar grader. I'm in So CAL.

If you find a reliable one, please let me know. My essays need lots of work.

My tutor was Patrick Lin (barexam101.com) -- he is in So. Cal. - relatively inexpensive -- he can be a little fast, and you get absolutely no sugar coating, but he has some good information, a lot of resources, and he is a former bar grader. I also thinks he puts in a lot of work, and his turnaround time on essays is quick.

I've also heard great things about John Crossfield although he is about 2x the price, but I would have gone with John Crossfield had he not filled up so quick. There is also Jay.....can't remember his last name....and I've heard good things about him, and I think he is a little less expensive than Crossfield.

The former bar graders seem to fill up pretty quick....so you should get on it right away if you're interested.

I am a bar tutor and in SoCal. I offer tutoring also via video chat through Skype, FaceTime, etc. I do line-by-line essay tutoring by first grading your essay and then going over it together via screen sharing, looking at each sentence in the hypo and seeing how they trigger issues.
