Does Barbri give enough MBE practice questions?

All we received was the giant book with question sets. I've been told to do about 30-40 a day and i'm not sure that this book is enough. Can anyone who has used Barbri or is familiar with Barbri confirm this? What have you supplemented Barbri with in terms of extra MBE questions? Thanks.

Two excellent books to supplement with are Strategies and Tactics for the MBE, and Strategies and Tactics for the Flynn Multistate Method. The first book contains questions that have been retired by the NCBE, and the 2nd is a book that has done an excellent job of creating questions very similar in style to the questions you'll see on the exam.

Barbri provides plenty of questions, but the Barbri questions are absurdly tough and somewhat unrepresentative of the actual MBE. I'd supplement with Adaptibar starting in mid-June.

I agree with the previous poster. Barbri's MBE questions were not representative of the actual MBE questions--level of difficulty was different, the questions were even structured differently. I liked Adaptibar better. Adaptibar's MBEs were worded very similar to the actual MBE (at least in my opinion).

I think the point of Barbri's hard questions is to force you to learn/memorize the law. Doing a a few sets of Adaptibar questions won't hurt and you won't be surprise the day of the test by the different structure and length of the questions.

Barbri helped me get a 154 MBE. In my opinion, supplementing is a mistake. It's hard enough to stay with the schedule as it is. The fact that the questions are more difficult will prepare you very well. The key is to not get too up or down emotionally and stay consistent with the practice. If you put the time in, Barbri works!

I killed the MBE using just the Emanuel's Tactics & Strat 2012 book and a little bit of Kaplan. I would not trust Barbri's simulated questions for the MBE. It's terrible.
