I withdrew from the Feb exam for medical reasons, so July is it!

Does anyone have a course recommendation? I was very impressed with Pieper, but they're new to the UBE.

Self studying here.. GL to everyone On a related note, anyone know when the exam location emails are sent (approximately based on previous administrations)

Heads up: received examsoft email. deadline for registration is June 2nd.

Since NY adopted UBE, are you allowed to sit for the UBE in any state now? I sat for NY in Feb and I didn't pass. Retaking it in July, but don't know if I have to go all the way to NY or can I sit for it at my home state, DC. DC is a UBE state as well. Please advise.

For February they sent it in the early January at exactly 12:01PM, and the most "desirable" location was filled by like 12:40PM lol

When I go there, it says the outlines are for 2015 though. Several weeks ago they messaged me to say they would update it, but it doesn't seem they have yet...

Is anyone in this thread taking NJ this summer also?

Only taking the UBE since NJ will allow score transfers beginning in October. Clerking in NJ for a year and my Judge said this was totally fine

Awesome info--I hadn't heard that. I'm currently licensed in Texas and taking the UBE in NY in July. If I pass, I'll certainly be transferring the score to NJ.

Checking in on this thread. Doing Barbri, got my course materials, unpacked and set them up on my desk then decided to not deal with it till Sunday night. Not sure about you guys, but i'm taking a few more days to bask in the feeling of being done before I gear up for bar prep.

PSA if you're taking the Aug NYLE maybe its better to do the NYLC now instead of a month from now since you have to complete it 30 days prior to the exam (NYLE) to register

Where do we sign up for our actual testing center?

Did anyone else not get e-mailed their certificate of attendance form? I ended up having to call them and convince them that I never received the e-mail (no, ma'am, it's not in my spam folder). I'm worried this is gonna happen again with the testing center e-mail (assuming there is one) and I'll be fked

If you're out of state, make sure you sign up as soon as you receive the email. I'm coming from Central Mass, which isn't too bad a drive to Albany, but I do not want to end up in Buffalo.
