What do you actually do most days on Barbri?

I am trying to plan studying for the bar in some kind of beach bungalow. I'm trying to make sure I have all the equipment and such that I'd need.
I have Barbri. Is most of the time watching online videos, reading online, answering questions online, etc? Will I be able to do all of this something like a tablet/Kindle reader? Or will I realistically need a laptop for basically all studying?
Do you use the paper books at all? Why did they send me paper books if everything is online?
Bonus question: anyone know a good tablet/e-reader for reading in intense direct sunlight and OK battery life?
Thanks for help!

One would watch the daily videos of the lesson if you are taking the online course. Otherwise, one would attend the daily lectures onsite.
I took February 2016 CA bar online only because I lived outside of CA. I used a second laptop and Apple TV to view lectures on my TV. I would suggest having access to a laptop because there are opportunities to upload practice essays and PTs for grading. You can also do MBE questions online. I imagine that can be done on a tablet instead of a laptop.
The books supplement online material. One is a lecture handout that is used to take notes during lectures. There are separate books PTs and essays which you will need for practice. One contains MBE questions (I believe that are also available online). The CMR and longer outline contain substantive law that you will likely refer to during your study. FYI: the first online lecture explained how to use these materials.

Good stuff, thanks dude.
After you watch the daily video, you just do hella MBE questions? Or just multiple choice questions?
I am taking online Barbri of course, so I'm assuming most if not all of the multiple choice stuff should be on their website/mobile app right?

You can watch the online videos at like 1.5x speed (or more) and understand them just fine. Helped me save a lot of time.

If you check online closer to start date (around May 23), you will see the personal study plan (PSP) Barbri has developed for you. It will include online MBE questions and assignments related to PT and essays (requires either outlining or writing out an answer offline). In addition, depending on how well you do on the MBE questions (MBE and multiple choice are the same), the system will assign additional questions for you in your weak areas. Lastly, you can get a jump start on questions as part of the pre start program (also online). It's a lot of stuff. Don't be surprised if you can't complete all your assigned work.
