Planning to take the UBE in New York city this July. In looking at the old MEE questions, the subject appears at the top - for example
Federal Civil Procedure and Conflict of Laws Question
To all the MEE takers out there - does it appear this way on the actual exam i.e., are you told the subjects tested in the heading for each MEE question?

Won't be spelled out for you. You'll notice if you purchase any of the released MBE questions that each also has a header listing the topic area. It's called issue spotting. Once you've seen enough essays and answers, you'll know what they're asking. This is to say nothing of the fact that the questions asked are often pretty narrow, so you can get an idea of what topics they're asking about if you look there first. Same strategy as reading the call first for the MBE. Practice, practice, practice. Best of luck!
