My laptop broke, and they won't be able to fix it in time. I got a new one, planning on returning it after the exam. Now, it is not letting me install ExamSoft on my new laptop because the deadline for registration is over. There is a note saying *if your computer broke and you need to install on another computer, contact the Bar office before the download deadline. The download deadline was on the 10th.

They will let you put it on a 2nd computer. I know a guy whose laptop failed 3 days before the July exam and he was able to contact them and get it installed on his wife's computer in time, for a $50 charge (of course).

Are you talking about California? I downloaded the software about 3 days ago.

Thanks I spoke to them and they said they will let me download it again =)
