I took Barbri for the CA bar. It was excellent. However, I was able to get perfect outlines from the actual Barbri lectures which saved me so much time. Just googled CA bar exam outlines.

I'm moving to Florida after a career in the entertainment business. I'm taking Barbri. However, I cannot find outlines for the Florida bar. Can anyone help?

Also, can anyone give me one long list of all the subjects on the Florida bar and if they have distinctions let me know. Like this:

Evidence (Fed/Fla)
Contracts (Fed/Fla)
Torts (Fed only)
etc...

As always, thanks.

The single best resource I've seen for the Florida Bar is Barbri's Conviser mini review for Florida. The reason for this is because the book contains outlines for the Florida specific subjects, the MBE subjects, and the Florida/MBE distinctions. In other words, everything you need.

As to the subjects, Florida tests the following on what they call part A of the exam, which is the Florida specific part (essays+multiple choice): Note that any MBE subject in part A could potentially tested Florida distinctions.

Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure
Florida Rules of Judicial Administration: 2.330, 2.420, 2.505, and 2.515
Florida Constitutional Law
Federal Constitutional Law
Trusts
Business Entities
Real Property
Evidence
Torts
Wills & Administration of Estates
Criminal Law, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, and Juvenile Delinquency
Contracts
Articles 3 and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code
Family Law and Dependency
Chapters 4 & 5 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar
Professionalism

Part B of the Florida exam is the MBE.
