Hey can anyone tell me how long it took from sending their admission package to the 3rd department to getting their sworn in date? I missed the deadline for january so was wondering if anyone had experience of this sort of timeline?

In the same boat as you. Is there a time limit on these affidavits? I was talking to some people about the character and fitness and they were telling me about how their employment affidavits were only valid for 60 days... so they had to time everything perfectly. They were admitted about 5 years ago so idk if it's the same now. Couldn't find anything on their website about it either

I have no idea, have you sent your admission package? I sent mine about 10 days ago and got an email saying they had it but no date as of yet. I live outside the US so I'm desperate for my swearing in date so I can arrange getting there etc.

I sent my application on December 15 (asking to have the ceremony in April), received a confirmation on December 21 (without any confirmation for the dates) and received a confirmation that my admission ceremony will be held in April on January 26. I live outside the US.

I sent my completed app sometime in mid-January and they assigned me an April 27 swearing in date.

The lady mentioned to me they have a swearing in ceremony every month but it seems like the ones outside the main dates are much smaller and get filled in much quicker. Hope that helps.

Where does it give the deadline dates? They received mine Jan 13 but recently sent a request for additional docs which are entroute now. Anyone know from previous takers if my date will be based on the original date they received the package or when they receive the additional documents? Also are the dates besides the January and June ceremonies, just an interview individually with no ceremony or fuss?

arghh they just sent me a letter saying something is missing too. Sending it out today. They took a while to send me the letter informing me a page was missing. I'm in the same boat wondering if they will base my swearing in date on the completed package being sent or the original.

It's based on your completed date. Every single thing has to be received and processed by them before they queue you up for a date.

If they are missing documents and you then send them, do they send you confirmation they received these too? or just send your admission date?
