First post...really hoping you guys can help.

So I used BarBri and I passed the Illinois Bar. Now I am taking the Missouri Bar, which is slightly different. I transferred my MBE score from Illinois so I just have to sit for the MEE and MPT portions. Looking to save money, I turned to Themis, the only reputable company that provided an essay and MPT only portion. Without thinking, I made the dumb mistake of not realizing it would not include the 7 MBE topics. I did get their massive MBE outlines, but I found the first time around that the lectures really helped.

Long story short, I was able to access their Law School Essentials: First Year lectures (all the MBE) topics. I don't know if anyone knows from experience, but would those be a good substitute or a waste of time? Thanks. I really appreciate any help.

Did you get the Final review outlines for the MBE topics?

I accessed the first year lectures before I got the actual MBE ones (I'm sitting for my third bar license 7 years after the last one I took). I found them to be a bit more "big picture" in terms of concepts vs. the MBE lectures. For example, the lecture on personal jurisdiction is really long and goes into the case law behind and how the cases evolved to get the current definitions. The MBE lecture just spits out the definition of PJ.

If you have the Themis MBE book, I think you can get away with not watching the lectures. I listened to a lot of them on 2x because I felt like some of the lecturers were just reading from the notes.
