Taking the bar in more than one jurisdiction?

Following graduation I will be doing a district court judicial clerkship. I am going to take the bar in the jurisdiction I am doing my clerkship in, but I would also like to be admitted in a different jurisdiction as well. Is it common for new graduates to apply for bar admission in more than one state? I assume I will have to take the bar exam twice? Does anything other than the MPRE transfer? Should I take one exam in July and the other in February?

Just take the Bar and get a good score in any UBE jurisdiction. There are at least 18 jurisdictions plus DC.
