Hi all,

When do we find out? The website says mid-November, but another part on the site says late October. Also, the NCBE handbook says that we should find out 12 weeks after the exam. Does anyone know?

Since the website says that the admission ceremonies are Nov 18th until the 24th. I'm guessing that we might get results November 13th which is a significant departure from all the other years in which they usually release results end of October, i.e., results usually get in your mailbox on Friday the 30th, and they post the results online November 2nd.

This does not seem likely considering the swearing in ceremonies were the exact same time last year. I would imagine the release of the July 2015 results will mirror the release of last year's results, as well.

Last year the BBE website was updated on October 13 with information about score release the following week. So if that it any indication, we should see some information on the website either today or early next week.

Not to be another neurotic bar exam taker who is waiting on results, but I'm so convinced that I failed. I'm glad that I finished all of the MA essays, but the MBE kicked my butt. Plus, the test center was loud, which sort of threw me off my game.

Thank you! The current site does not say anything similar yet, but hopefully soon!

Results should be sent out close to the same time last year. I would assume that they'll be in mailboxes by 10/30 and results posted online that following Monday.

And that exam room was crazy loud on MBE day! I can't believe they allowed that to happen. Hopefully other people were more distracted than we were though!

I emailed the BBE yesterday (not expecting an answer) and just received the below response:


Thank you for reaching out to the Board of Bar Examiners to request information regarding the Massachusetts bar examination. Results for the July 2015 Massachusetts Bar Examination will be mailed out to examinees on Thursday October 22, 2015 and a list of passing applicants will be posted on our website on Monday, October 26, 2015.

That's great news, thanks for the letting us know! I remember seeing something on the website that people who pass are going to get their scores as well this time. Anyone else hear about this?

The Board of Bar Examiners will not release scores achieved by individuals who passed the Massachusetts bar examination prior to July 2015. Individuals who passed the Massachusetts bar examination prior to July 2015 may request an advisory relative to their eligibility for admission in another jurisdiction by submitting a Score Advisory Request Form.

I think "[n]ow that passing scores are being released, effective for the July 2015 examination" would be the critical part of that. But I think we only get the total score not a breakdown by MBE/essay, as the BBE apparently still issues score advisories. Better than nothing for those of use still waiting for another state though.

In RI, seriously hoping to get my letter tomorrow. On pins and needles over here. Folks in MA, let us know when you get your letters

Yes please update here if you get your results! I have heard rumors from past bar-takers that they sometimes send the results out the day before the intended mail date, so some folks could be getting results today. Need to know how obsessively I need to be leaving work to check my mail today!

Sigh, just got the mail in Malden, MA, about 20 minutes outside Boston. Nothing. Another day of waiting.... I was not prepared

Usually mail from downtown Boston gets to other parts of Boston overnight! I was expecting to hear today but if other people already didn't....

Mail should be here in an hour, so I guess I'll find out for myself soon!
