I've heard people mention that some states have posted actual passing essays from past years. Does anyone have a link?

CA has done this. Probably not a smart idea to read them right now, though, because they're selected "model" answers and therefore will give you an unrealistic idea of what an average passing essay looks like (and no-one knows what an average passing essay looks like).

Just made this mistake and now I want to throw up at the thought of a Remedies essay.

Deep breaths. They're model answers for a good reason. Chances are they're the best thing that examinee wrote, and far above the minimum competency necessary to pass.

See, yeah, that's what I was hoping to avoid. I heard somewhere that some states have put up "average" essays--not stellar but good enough to pass. Definitely not looking for more model essays.

Yeah it'll be fine. Rationally I know you're right. I know the stuff for the most part and it's always better when applying to fact patterns instead of thinking about it all in the abstract.
