I have her predictions too and I like how she broke it all down.

I'm thinking if there is a murder, payback will be some weird assed essay on another subject that day since everyone seems to do well on murder fact patterns.

Speaking of tribal law, Costco in WA is buying weed from a WA tribe to sell at WA Costco's. It's my understanding the Feds still haven't legalized it. So what rationale do they use for Fed tribal lands growing weed?

Hmm... interesting.. Pretty sure that other dude with the YouTube predictions predicted Wills/Trusts to be on it.

They like estate planning subjects in the PT, wouldn't be surprised to see a complex trust or probate tucked away in the State of Columbia.

CA evidence and CA civ pro is just not cool on the same exam.

Good god that would be an absolute nightmare. I'd bomb multiple essays and be back again for more in February.

Worked for a CJA attorney (regular intern and R9) almost my whole law school career until I got poached to the east coast, in WD and ED of WA, US Attorneys aren't going after small timers at all, I mean at all. Bigger fish to fry. Meth production and sale, darknet shit, oxy trafficking, surprising limited amount of heroin (some day I'm gonna do a Meth/Heroin divide chart like the IHOP/Waffle House divide chart). Nobody cares about weed because like, manpower is limited, there's a huge legal presence and huge black market, and fed. weed possession is a misdemeanor anyway and out of all the AUSAs I don't know anyone who's zealous enough to go after that.

I mean, you know, unless you're an immigrant possessing over 30 grams.

no, it will be:

1- pure securities racehorse issue-spotter. this will set a nice tone for the rest of the exam.
2- civ pro, prompt says "answer under CA law" but you have to apply the eerie doctrine and realize u actually have to apply federal law so there are no CA rules (this apparently happened before on an exam). rules will be compulsory joinder, permissive counterclaim, supplemental jurisdiction, compulsory counterclaim, request for medical examination, discovery, and interlocutory appeals. it will be a racehorse exam you will probably not be able to finish on time.
3- contracts (UCC)/torts /property crossover question. question just asks "what claims can person 1 bring against person 2"
4- invasion of privacy/false imprisonment
5- the question will ask about riparian water rights, but there are 6 hidden constitutional law issues that you have to spot (i.e. equal protection/substantive due process, ect..)- will resemble February 2014 essay 4 in many ways.
6- a bunch of stuff will happen in the facts, the facts will be 5/7 of a page long, and the question will be "what actions of person x constituted violations of the fair housing act?"

and PT 1, task memo will say "draft 100 special interrogatory questions". 3/4 of the people will just start writing a memorandum of law, and they will fail leaving only 25% of people to pass, and those few people will get 80+ percent. don't ever go against the task memo, ever.

and pt 2 will be an objective memorandum of law involving constitutional law, give you 10 cases, but 5 cases are irrelevant, and the task memo will say you have to figure out implicitly which cases are "relevant" or else you automatically fail the exam.
