I'm sorry OP. My first dog died at the beginning of the year - it's really rough but I hope he/she had a good life under your care.
If talking about the pup is helpful I'm sure a bunch of us would be happy to hear stories about him/her.

Sorry man. I know there's nothing we can really say, but if it helps at all I've been there and I know how much it sucks. Take the day if you need to, then throw yourself back into it tomorrow. I'm sure Solo lived a happy life and he would want you to be happy too.

ok, now I am crying. I'm really sorry. I had to put my dog down in December before I took the Feb exam. It sucked and it still sucks. He used to sit with me and watch me do MBE's. He was with me all through college and law school( He was 14) and a marriage and divorce. He was my baby as I'm sure Solo was yours. Give yourself a day to cry and then wait until its all over and mourn as long as you want.

I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is to lose a pet, and how weird it can feel when non-pet people just don't get how much you're grieving. I remember how much trouble I had concentrating at work after I had to take my kitty to the vet in the morning and felt her die in my arms. Four years later still makes my cry thinking about it. This week must be so challenging for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I feel your pain--it hurts so much to lose a friend and companion.
My pet bunny died in March. I had him for over 5 years--he was with me when I studied for LSAT, when I studied for my law school exams, and spent sleepless nights writing papers. I miss him so much it hurts. I cried for a week non-stop--thank God I was on a spring break. I still cry sometimes; it was the saddest thing happened to me since my father passed away 11 years ago.
Please try to stay strong. I really hope you crush this test.

Losing my dog to a brain tumor at 8 years old was one of the hardest things that ever happened to me. Like others said, he would want you to crush the bar! Take a day and do your best to stay focused after. Good luck!

Thank you all for the support, I really really appreciate it. Impossible coming to terms with the fact he's gone. The sadness comes in waves, but it's horrible.
Spent the morning doing MBE and K essays. Any last minute hacks for grabbing an extra point or two on MBE? (that is, without actually learning more law).
