I still have a while to wait, but saw that NC results were released last year during the last week of August. Not sure what I have been doing these last few weeks, but they have definitely gone by fast, though waiting another 2 months probably won't go so fast. Anyway, if it is the case that those results get released this week, it would be greatly appreciated if you could share any info NC might provide regarding MBE scores.

I think North Carolina starts this week and then they start to trickle in beginning of September

Generally NC results come out the last week of August. I have not started hearing any rumors yet as to when results will be released, though most I have talked to think it will be Friday of this week. If it is like normal, I think results could be mailed at any point from Wednesday-Friday of this week. We really just don't know, though. Since the OP was about the MBE, keep in mind that NC has a split of 60% essay and 40% MBE, so if you try to reverse engineer the pass rate of NC into how the MBE was scored, that will need to be factored in.

I'll try to remember to respond to this thread if/when I hear anything more concrete about the release date.

Do you know if NC provides you with your MBE score?

My understanding is that NC only provides scores to those that fail the exam.

Effing California. We hear on November 21.

I would have paid a lot more to get my California exam read by more than one person, and to have the results not take till November 21. It is kind of sadistic.

Doesn't sound like it from what I've heard. Oklahoma pass list is supposedly being released within the next hour. I've got a friend that took it and am going to give him a call shortly. I'll relay whatever info he gives me. I'm sure you're not the only one interested.

Yeah,. I think the best way to get any idea of the potential curve is to talk to people who took it, look at their scaled score and compare it to what percentage they were averaging on Barbri/Kaplan, etc. Rudimentary and inaccurate, but the best we have to go off of.

Yea that's actually why I'm so curious. Him and I were scoring within a few points (give or take 5 on a 100 Q timed PT) of each other on average so his score might be an indicator of what range mine might be in.

Although this is all irrelevant if they don't release his MBE score separately.

Well that will be a nice indicator then. What range? Did you take the Barbri 100Q simulated final?

Also, just got a call that he passed. He's going to call me back when he gets to the office and let me know whether or not they posted his MBE score somewhere on his account.
