Anyone care to share any strategies they are utilizing for studying, or relaxing, for the three days preceding the bar? I figured just reviewing MBE and essay subject outlines would be sufficient but didn't know if that was the way to go.

A week ago I would have said, check in the night before, have a nice meal, hit the lounge and make sure room service has you down for breakfast. However, the closer is gets, seems like any semblance of a strategy has vanished.

Anxiously awaiting replies. My capacity to study every day for hours on end and to retain new information seems to be fading away.

I have a feeling that this is the sole reason I made the thread, even though my body doesn't want to admit defeat

My plan:
I'm starting to wind-down now. I've been through all of the material at least three times now. Not much else I can do. I'm stopping after about 8 hours a day. Do this until Sunday. Outline practice essays for state bar subjects Sunday morning, finish substantive review Sunday night with MBE mixed set & run through MBE flash cards. Monday, sleep late and workout in the morning. Run though a practice MPT (outline only) on Monday. Eat dinner, go to CVS and buy a fuck ton of protein bars. Check into hotel. Run though flashcards Monday evening. Take the bar.

Do not allow for all the pressure to be bottled up inside, I implore all of you to go outside for a few minutes, spot a stray kitten (remember, make sure it is a stray one and not a domesticated one) bring that kitten to your backyard and go all Dexter on it. You will be surprised how much better you will feel.
Did I mention that Bar Reviewing can make law abiding citizens go insane in the membrane?

Are we talking M'Naghten insane or irresistible impulse insane?
I'll see myself out.

The fact you spelled that shit perfectly (or at least looks like its perfect) shows how much studying you have been doing.

One thing that helped me last year when I took the bar. I went to the convention center the night before and checked out the exam location and room. Also checked out where to best park, since I didn’t stay at a hotel. The IHOP stop before the exam probably helped.

3 days: craploads of MBE q's and quick issue spotting on essays and cramming black letter law
day before: do a Bikram yoga class, more memorization, but give it a break in the evening. if I feel really nervous probably just do some bar bri amps
day 1: take written exam 1/2 - that evening try not to cry, brush up on MBE topics. come home and discard all the state-specific essay topics covered that day
day 2: take MBE, try not to cry in public. that evening go through the law for the essays likely to show the next day
day 3: take written exam 2/2
and then after that probably attempt to begin to feel human again and detox from my 2 week diet of starbucks, subway, and 7-11 food. =)

3 days before exam: Flip through evidence and criminal law/procedure flashcards; Scan over my 12 page condensed outline for state subjects; Do 36 MBEs.
2 days before exam: Flip through real property and torts flashcards; Scan over my 12 page condensed outline for state subjects; Do 36 MBEs.
Day before: Briefly flip through contracts and constitutional law flashcards (my best subjects); Be active so I can get a good night's rest; Relax/do nothing bar related for the rest of the day; Prepare lunch/get everything ready for the exam.
