Barbri and NCBE Questions

I was thinking about looking at some of the NCBE MBE questions to supplement Barbri, but was told by someone (who may or may not have known what they were talking about) that Barbri includes the released NCBE questions in the practice sets. Does anyone know if that's right? I don't want to pay out for the NCBE questions if they're all questions I've already looked at through Barbri.

I've heard, but haven't been able to confirm, that BARBRI's MPQ2 book (the mixed subject sets in the 2013 materials) are prior NCBE questions.

There are downloadable from the website, and in the middle of the thin MPQ book.

are these the "mixed subject practice questions" under the practice questions tabs? how are these different from study smart? they're actually real questions from previous bars?
basically, what i'm asking is: is there a reason to do these instead of just finishing the studysmart questions online?
