New York Admission - Second Department

4/24/14 - passed the bar
5/16/14 - Submitted all my paperwork
6/6/14 - Called second department and was notified that my application was complete
Waiting on email for character and fitness interview. Any heard anything yet?

6/12/14 - Received a letter via snail mail notifying me that my character and fitness interview is on 6/16/14
I will keep posting my progress as it becomes available. I hope that this broad timeline helps future Feb bar takers.

I submitted around the same time. When I called, the kind lady said she couldn't tell me the status (she didn't take my name, just said she couldn't tell me that).
???
This makes me nervous given that you received a letter on 6/12 for an interview on 6/16....

You might want to ask if your application has been assigned to a reviewer yet. If so, ask to speak to that reviewer. Good luck.

6/19/14 - Received letter via regular mail notifying me that my application has been approved by the C & F committee. Will be sworn in August 20th!!!!

I'm applying to the 3rd dep't. I sent in my application on the 10th or so? I got a letter from them today: My interview and (if all goes well) swearing in will be on Aug. 14.
