Illinois Bar - Late submission of materials

I recently accepted a job at a big firm in Chicago. I am relocating from CA after practicing for two years. This all happened rather quickly and I submitted my electronic application and paid the "really late" filing fee of $1400+ dollars. I did not submit my release or photo id forms until today--June 9th for various reasons. The website is a bit ambiguous as to the consequences of this, at one point saying "any materials received after May 31 2014 will be assessed a late filing fee" and at another point saying "all materials must be received by May 31, 2014 or the applicant will not be able to sit for the July bar exam". One thought is that the late filing fee applies to submission of materials other than the base application and that so long as the base application is in by May 31 (which is the case here) you just have to pay a late fee for any later submitted materials.

Anyone have any thoughts on this or have to deal with a similar situation? Any insight would be much appreciated.
