So for $129 on top of the already obscene amount of money spent on this overrated course we get to watch an 8 hour lecture video highlighting material??? Is this legit? Can someone w experience please persuade me that this is worth the time/money and not just a shameless money grab?

Because you like to be extorted duh. And everyone else is going to do it.

For a 100 more you can get access to Kaplan's MBE Q Bank or buy real questions. I am thinking about doing this with the money.

Not sure what this additional $129 is about, getting Kaplan's stuff free through school (THANK YOU, SCHOOL.) Sorry mang.

Also wondering about this - I've heard they are very good and it would be nice to save some time.

Yeah those-they have all the information from what looks like barbri material in flashcard form [based on what i saw from my friends]...so pretty much most of what you need to memorize is in there and you have space to write in examples inside the card. It beats wasting time writing your own flashcards. I'm still waiting on them to come in so I can't say if they are life changing but i don't see how it can hurt.

Yea totally agree. I've been working with them this weekend to write down NY distinctions and I think it's a big help over making your own flashcards.

I have the flashcards, and I think they are great. So far, it looks like they took the Barbri material and put it on the flashcards in a nice, easy to read form. Please do not buy from Amazon. They are more expensive there. The actual website has them for $85. I would check on eBay to get a better deal. I copped mine on eBay. I am trying to find something similar for the MEE essay topics, but no luck.

If anyone has questions on the cards just PM me.

I was wondering this too- whether that class is worth it or not. I think I read on the website that if you sign up before June 30th, it's $99.....meanwhile, it should be free.

I'm also interested in the flash cards, already bought a book with real MBE questions but may be interested in getting these as well. How many cards are typical for each subject?

40ish or 50.

This almost made me regret going with Kaplan (but I really do like Kaplan - as much as you can like a bar prep course)

If your school doesn't pay though, I would probably recommend this option since there are a lot of questions and the explanations are really helpful.

Does anyone know if there is a big difference between the critical pass cards and the law in a flash cards?

I got the emmanuel cards because they were only $35 on Prime, and I think they are good. That said, I haven't used the critical pass. I've heard that the Strategies and Tactics for the MBE is a good book to buy for MBE practice questions.

Huh? The law is almost verbatim from Barbri.

One of the reviews on amazon said it didn't include 1st amendment stuff for con law, can you confirm? I'm thinking about getting these as well since I liked law in a flash for other law school classes, but just need to remember to make some additional 1st amendment ones. Thanks!

The critical pass flashcards are amazing, they are like straight off the barbri lectures. The main difference btw them and the law in a flash ones is that for example the torts one there is only 43 cards or something and its mostly straight BLL but law in a flash theres like 300 torts cards and it's actual questions. I think theres just too many law in a flash cards but the critical pass ones theres a more reasonable amount. The critical pass ones also have room to take notes on each card.

My strategy has been to follow along and take notes on the critical pass flashcards while I'm watching the lectures. Most of the time I don't have to write in notes but every once in a while I do and just put them in the designated spot.

I was really sucking at MBE but I came up with the strategy of combining my leansheets (I seriously LOVE these!) and my critical pass flashcards for torts for example and putting them together to make my own 1 pg outline of the subject. Then I use adaptibar to practice MBE questions. This has actually seemed to really help me learn the material and get my MBE score up. I'd also recommend the book "Strategies and Tactics for them MBE" because the whole intro is like 20pgs on tricks/things to look out for/strategies which I thought was helpful.

I am the biggest supplement whore on earth, I <3 my supplements, when I get nervous I just start buying shit on amazon.

If anyone has Critical Pass flashcards, I'm interested in buying them (preferably through eBay). I'm attempting to make flashcards by hand, it is taking me forever and a day and I'm eager to get caught up with the fast paced Barbri schedule and start doing as many practice MBE questions as possible.

I'm considering getting the flash cards as well, does anyone know of a coupon code? One of my professors emailed all of the graduating 3Ls with a 20% coupon code awhile back, but it expired before I decided to make the purchase.

I learned on their facebook page that you can get free shipping with code "UEBQZZ"

Has anyone used the Critical Pass app for ipad/iphone? It looks like the in-app purchase of the flashcards is only $50.

Just received my Critical Pass flashcards today. So glad I spent the $. I feel like prep is going well, but I know I need to start memorizing. The cards are perfect! I think if I memorize them and keep up with most of BarBri's paced program all will be well.

CP's website warns if you use free shipping there could be a delay, but I ordered Monday and they were here Thursday.

I picked them up. I like them a lot so far; they seem to be the CMR in flash card form. Feels more manageable this way

You have to like their Facebook page to access the new coupon code (click on the Free Shipping Code tab). But since I was outbid on eBay this morning, I decided to order directly from their website: http://criticalpass.refr.cc/3W6LZL6

It says there might be an order delay, but I'm hoping that I'll get them by Tuesday.
