Post by MBAtoJD » Mon Mar 31, 2014 11:19 am

1. You are going to pass!
Ok...I know all about the power of positive thinking but COME ON!!!! Unless you are a grader, STFU!

2. Try to have fun & forget about it
Try telling a pregnant woman to forget she is pregnant

3. What Bar prep do you recommend?
Hmmm...you should wait until I pass to ask me that.

4. Even if you fail, it's not the end of the world. Just retake.
Ok...this one is true but I still hate hearing it

5. Even if you pass, the job market sucks.
Well, even if the job market sucks, I still want to be a lawyer in a sucky market

6. Do you remember that question about...
SHUT UP! Wait...was it the one about lateral support? Yeah, I fucked that one up!

7. You should keep studying just in case.
Urrrgh!

8. Can you sell me your books?
See #3 above

9. I know of someone who took the Bar 5 times & then passed on the 6th.
Son of a bitch. What are you trying to say????

10. Stay off sites that talk about Bar.
Well...

"90% of people from ABA schools pass. Look at that box over there. If you don't pass, have all your stuff from your desk in that box and get out of here before I get into the office."

"You know Jane Doe? She took it and passed the first time!"

"If you studied hard, you shouldn't be worried."

"If you fail, I guess it wasn't meant to be."

I had a acquaintance tell me this, though to be fair while studying but haunted me into results:

"I had a friend who was a C student at this TTT, and he barely studied and passed, I don't know why you are so worried about it."

Fawk, I failed (got results earlier)... well, I'm sure you passed though. I believe in you.

This would probably stress him/her out.
