Honestly, i trumped my entire 60 page outline (i know too long) for the notes i took during listening to his online lecture. Has anyone used his analytical approaches on test questions? His mechanical approach to each question type made everything so much easier.

Just wondering if anyone has used his approach and done well on an exam. I think if you do and throw in some policy you're set. I could've skipped class all year and watched his 6 hour lecture.

I used his book. It was phenomenal.

I did, and we'll see how it went. I did exactly what you did, I sat down with my 40+ page outline, listened to three hours of his lecture and the whole course just materialized for me.

I kind of lol'd on my exam, she threw a huge curveball on our personal jurisdiction question... but he went over how to handle that stuff in his hornbook.

Instead of allowing the state to exercise jurisdiction to the full extent the constitution allows, she gave us a laundry list of stuff. Like one was torts committed outside the state on residents in the state, and then you had to cross read a products liability statute that presented a stream of commerce analysis from Asahi. Bunch of stuff like that. It was basically there to separate the people who thoroughly understood personal jurisdiction from those who just memorized the analysis we always used in class.

Freer's book was awesome. I only wish I discovered it sooner.

He has such a mechanical approach, which is good, since Civ Pro is more rule-based than most classes. I highly recommend the hornbook for civ pro. His approach to Erie is straightforward, right on the money, and this alone is worth the price of the book.

I had Freer at Emory and he was equally lucid in class.

The book is nothing less than amazing. I though Glannon was good, but Freer goes into much more depth and somehow, at the same time, provides a simpler explanation.

Also, I love that he says "BTdubs" at one point in his Barbri lecture.

Those barbri lectures are saving my butt. It all makes sense now, like for real, thanks to him. I wish I'd know about his book earlier!

Ditto, we used his textbook in Civ Pro as well. I didn't think to get his hornbook to go along with it (used Glannon) but I definitely will next semester (two semesters of Civ Pro, different professors).

I took civ pro with Freer last semester at Emory, the class was two hours long and there was never a time where I was bored.

The man is a legend!!!!!

I can't seem to stayed signed in to the website. When I do sign in, no access or way to sign up. When I don't sign in, I can click 1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, then lectures, and then there's nothing.. which leads me to think I need to sign in.

Has anyone watched the other lectures besides the Civ Pro ones? Freer was awesome, but now I'm thinking of watching the contracts one if that will actually be useful.
