Yes, but I think most 1L's would put their life on the line for the data in their laptops this late in the semester.

Something criminals must learn: You don't fuck with a law students laptop.

Best part is at the end of the article, where they say if he can't find a legal job, he could be a security guard. I'm still trying to decide if they are commenting on his mad disarming skills, or the fact that he needs a backup because he goes to Cooley. LOL

Cooley hating is so 2009. They have the largest library and stadium now. Moving up in the world.

I think we should at least distinguish thomas cooley the School with the reputation and with those who attend thomas cooley. I would say most are really decent people trying to do their best as well as some exceptional individuals and some parasites, like in any law school.

Cooley hating is so 2009. They have the largest library and stadium now. Moving up in the world.

They should probably teach them to play some baseball while they're at it...more lucrative job prospects (and paychecks) than a law degree from Cooley.

Seriously, there are many people in this world. Many, many people. And you want to be a lawyer, to defend these people? Are you serious? What in the world are you going to do in life if everyone is a lawyer?

It's really unclear what you are trying to say here, but if you are scolding jonas for insulting the very people who will constitute the majority of his clientele, then you are mistaken. Many people on TLS - probably including jonas - will never defend "these people" during their careers.

If everyone was a lawyer, who would you stand out to? I know I can do my own taxes. I don't go to a CPA. If you were a lawyer and got a DWI would you go to a lawyer that charged 200 an hour? How about if you were a doctor and your wife got a bac infection, would you go to the doctor to get a script? errrrrrr.....

I grew up in a small town. Small. 9000 people. Believe it or not, the cops are hand in hand with the lawyers. You spend money, you get off, if not, you pay the fine. I'm not sure where you get the Many people from TLS number, seriously... SRLSY... but, yes, if Jonas wants to be a judge, or if Jonas can't get into Big Law, which most won't, even on this Forum... This is a cooley thread right?
