Can a law career in San Francisco fin district or Silicon Valley be as exciting as Wall Street?

I moved to New York City 9 months ago and don’t like it all. Prior to moving from the Midwest I had many preconceived notions of how nyc would be and am fairly disappointed. I’m lonely and struggling to make friends. My initial plan for moving to New York City was to attend law school here and someday become an attorney on Wall Street or an investment bank
While Wall Street is exciting and good if one’s interest is corporate law, still the fast pacedness of the city and being lonely just doesn’t feel like home.
I love the chill atmosphere of California and the social aspects but yet I feel there merits in corporate law are behind nyc and they also lack the legal hub which is nyc
Can a career in corporate law at a big law firm in cali and later working at an IB there or Silicon Valley be exciting as nyc? Can anyone give me some reasons too while cali can be a better fit
