constitutionnal questions

Post by internationalstud » Tue Jun 01, 2021 10:14 pm

would like your opinion on those 3 questions !

The Supreme Court has declared a federal law unconstitutional. The President orders the Attorney General and the Department of Justice to disregard the declaration that the law is unconstitutional. Indeed, the President has repeatedly expressed his disagreement with the Supreme Court's interpretation of the Constitution in this case. What should the Ministry of Justice and the Attorney General do: execute the President's order or refuse to comply? Why?

Congress passed a broad program to fund the (re)construction of public infrastructure (roads, electricity, internet, etc.) to make it more modern and sustainable. The law also makes it a felony to misappropriate funds for road reconstruction. Is this law constitutional: yes or no? Why is it so?

Congress passes a law prohibiting the sale of firearms on the Internet. Is this law constitutional: yes or no? Why or why not?
