NYU AnBryce Scholars - What Was Your LSAT Score?

What is the typical score range for AnBryce recipients? I'd like to know if I have a chance. What were some of your scores? Right now my highest score is a 167, and I'm wondering if I should retake it.

Does LSAT matter so long as it would be good enough for admissions in the first place? Still, you're better off retaking since 167 is by no means a lock at NYU

Are you sure? The range for accepted students at NYU in 2015 was 166-171 and 3.6-3.9, meaning there were people who had below those stats who got in too. I have a 167 and 3.76. Also I have some softs; I'm of middle eastern/central Asian descent, I'm not sure if that qualifies me as an underrepresented minority or at least as a diversity candidate, but I am also a religious refugee from Uzbekistan.

With a 167 it's worth retaking regardless of your hypothetical chances at a scholarship. If you hit 167 you can get to 170, which significantly increases your chances at merit aid of all kinds.

The topic you linked does not seem to contain any information about what LSAT scores you should have in order to be competitive for this scholarship.

I suspect that's because the LSAT required is whatever would be required to get into NYU generally, and the scholarship is based on other factors. (But that's a guess based on the nature of that thread, not because I have experience with NYU.)

Don't I have a chance to get in with a 167 if their score range is 166-171? I would retake but I have less than a month for the September one and if I were to take the December one I would not get my results back in time in order to apply for the anbryce scholarship which is due by Jan. 1st.

I linked it because you have a better chance of getting an answer to your question if you post it in that thread.

Ok thanks! I think I might've already tried posting in either that or another Anbryce thread but I'll try again!
