Hello,

I've just finished up my 1L year at a T1 school in Texas (Baylor/UH/SMU). I finished the year with a 2.95 (median in 3.05). I know I'm out of the running for OCI. Thankfully I won't have much debt at graduation so a high-paying job to start off with was never a necessity. However, being below median has got me pretty worried. I'm gonna work my ass off this next year to get above median. What are my job prospects right now with where I am. Appreciate any comments/advise especially from those familiar with these schools/the Texas market

You're probably in the same boat as the vast majority of your class. Hustle, hustle, hustle to get a job. I think hustling is infinitely more important for you right now than clawing to get above median.
