For 1L jobs, do firms care about undergrad GPA at all?

I have a pretty trash UGPA but made it into a good school on the back of the LSAT. If im applying for the fabled 1L firm job that i probably wont get, will they ask for my undergrad transcripts?

they will ask, yes.

Firms usually ask for your fall 1L grades. Very rarely will anyone ask for your UGPA.

Weird, almost every firm I applied to wanted my ug transcript.
I say almost because I don't remember if there were any that didn't.
Granted, I was targeting outside my school's geographic reach so I was mass mailing instead of using symplicity

one defender office did, no firms did or any other public interest jobs

it's particularly important if you're applying for a patent pros job. also slightly important for patent lit

None of the firms I applied to asked for UG transcript.
