COL Adjustment for student w/dependents

Does anyone know the approximate amount your loans were adjusted up to cover cost of living for your dependents? I spoke with the financial aid office, and they said the adjustments are made after you enroll. I'm trying to find housing and need to know about how much I should be looking to spend in rent. Did your amount allowed to borrow go up 25% per person? 50%? I know it will differ for each situation, but I'm just looking for a guesstimate. Thanks in advance!
