Top Law Schools

I have one quick question about it - is it typical, when getting in off the waitlist, to get little or no scholarship? I mean, expect little to no, but I'm just curious which is more the norm. I've been waitlisted at a few in the top 20 that I'd go to without a scholarship, but there are other law schools I've been waitlisted at where I wouldn't want to go without some scholarship, and am just trying to gauge if that's likely.

It depends on why you were waitlisted. If they waitlisted you because you are an attractive candidate that they think is unlikely to attend, then if you persist and stay on the waitlist, many schools will offer you a scholarship despite the fact that you come in off the waitlist. If they waitlisted you because you are a sucky applicant, and they only admit you once their spreadsheets tell them they have met their LSAT/GPA goals, they'll probably only let you in at sticker.
