Seems like you can't go anywhere in NJ without paying a toll, and they sure make it hard to leave without paying one.EzraFitz wrote:Yeah, tolls seem to be more of a usage tax, and I can't think of any place you can only access by toll roads.

You could drive all the way around the southern end of the Bay and get to Treasure Island from SF on 80E. The toll is only charged going westward.ballouttacontrol wrote:Treasure Island, California, is only accessible via the Bay Bridge, which is tolledEzraFitz wrote:Yeah, tolls seem to be more of a usage tax, and I can't think of any place you can only access by toll roads.
Unless you count using a sailboat

Haha no one said it's a nice work around. But technically you could not have to pay tolls. You pay for the convenience, and the usage of the easy path.ballouttacontrol wrote:ctfuuu i mean it's still a toll bridge...from Marin that would literally be like a 4000 mile drive lmaogoldenflash19 wrote:You could drive all the way around the southern end of the Bay and get to Treasure Island from SF on 80E.
