Just want something easy to understand that I can refer to when I get confused while reading/after class (starting to happen more and more often) Did a search and these 2 look equally popular. Thanks, guys

chirelstein is too brief and e&e is too detailed. contracts just has shitty options compared to something like civpro or torts.

damn :/ contracts is probably the one class where i really need a good supplement...no pref at all between the 2?

I like the E&E, with the caveat that I pick and choose the material that matches up to what we're doing in class through the index and so often end up reading half chapters and such.

A good outline from your professor is the way to go for contracts

e&e probably. it's dense but has a lot more meat to it than just a cursory overview of the chirelstein book

Use both. You can read Chirelstein in over a weekend later in the semester.

torts and civpro E&E are treating me good. Contract E&E is a little confusing though

although for your intended purpose (not really studying for finals but want to clear up stuff as you're going through your casebook) the Chirelstein would actually be perfect. Just be prepared to dig deeper come finals time.

I like the contracts E&E, I feel like it covers everything with the level of detail you'd want, especially if class is not helpful. I also like Robert Hillmann's concise hornbook for contracts, which is very accessible and a lot shorter than the E&E.
