My first impressions are that it is more laid back than I expected; the class room vibe is not particularly intense or intimidating. I like all of my professors and classmates thus far. Every one that I have met who are 2Ls and 3ls are extremely accommodating and encouraging. I am really content with my decision to attend to UT at this juncture.cannibal ox wrote:What's UT like?

I detect sarcasm. I never suggested that I have any "invaluable "insight to offer. I am a stupid 1L who is slightly less stupid than I was a month ago as OL. As someone who came from an undergrad institution that didn't have a plethora of particularly impressive students, this is taking some getting use to. However, most of the students in my section are vey affable and are willing to lend their insight. I already have a net of students that I feel comfortable hanging out and studying with, which is nice. As for the interests of the students, it seems to be mixed. UT is small but it's not that small.
