I honestly can't tell if you're a serious troll or truly clueless. Either way, I'll entertain your question in case you really don't know.

The LSAT is a short exam for which your prepare a few months for. It has been said that the LSAT is a skill that can be learned, so as long as you put in the work, you should get a good score. However, even if you don't get a "good" score, it is plausible to get into a good school with a low LSAT if you have an outstanding GPA plus other qualifications. But you won't be offered as big of a scholarship and TLS will kindly (not really) ask you to retake. In which case maybe you go through this process once more.

Law school is a THREE YEAR grind in which you take an average of 3-4 law school exams per semester. These exams can range from 3 hours to some crazy 48 hour take home exam (and trust me, for the long exams, you do end up using most if not all the time). Your first year is packed with difficult classes. You're competing on a curve to get good/great grades. You're studying all the time, and when you're not, you're always thinking about how you should be studying. In addition to that, the entire law school experience revolves around applications for internships/clerkships/summer associate positions/post-grad applications and interviewing for those positions.

So not only are you working really hard to make the grades necessary to secure employment, but you're also trying to secure that employment. Despite all the work that you might put in and how much of a nice guy you may be, you could still graduate unemployed. It happens more often than people think.

But if you're worried about the difference between the LSAT and law school, I should probably tell you that the bar exam is awful. That, I would be most worried about. It's a grueling process and you could end up going through more than once.

Anyhow, I hope this helps.

The LSAT is a lot more important. Do well there and law exams aren't such a big deal.

Agree that the lsat is much more important

Disagree that law school is a three year grind (no one who ever went to law school could say that with a straight face). It's arguably not even a one year grind.

I guess law school is harder in the sense that there's just more work/time spent on it (usually).

Dude, I was just trying to help you with your question. I'll stay off your thread. Good luck with law school!

Eh, I didn't study all the time/think that I should be studying all the time. But law school is a lot of stress and work, especially given the unpredictability of grades, and especially if you're not going the biglaw route and therefore actually have to pay attention after 1L. 2L and 3L were way more work than 1L. But then I didn't put a ton of work into the LSAT, either.

I think the higher your LSAT --> the higher ranked the school --> the less important what you do in school is (because you've cleared most of the hurdles getting into school), and vice versa. The lower your LSAT, the less likely you are to be able to be at a school where you can rely on your school's OCI/placement generally, and you have to hustle and do shit to get a job.
